ORDERING AND DELIVERY
Babykit reserves the right to decline any orders placed
Our aim is to deal with your order quickly and efficiently. As soon as we receive payment, we will process your order straightaway. We aim to work on a 72 hour delivery from stocked items. Certain items may be on an extended delivery time eg. wardrobes or dressers. We will advise you of the estimated delivery time when you place the order and will keep you fully informed of the progress of the order until delivery.
Carriage charge: £10.00 will be added on to the total of your order. This charge applies to home deliveries only. The price of the goods includes VAT.
From the time you place the order to the time you receive the goods we will keep you up to date by email or telephone. If you need to telephone us we can be contacted on 01905 640990.
Orders will need to be signed for on delivery. Please check the boxes carefully before signing. If a box is damaged, please note the box is damaged on the docket when signing. Shortages and damage should be reported to us within 48 hours. Our carriers deliver between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. When we receive your order we will contact you to arrange a delivery day to suit you.
Please note our carrier makes only one attempt at delivery. If a convenient delivery day has been arranged and you are then not available to receive the goods on the due day or you refuse the goods, you will be required to pay any exta carriage costs incurred.
ORDERS TO BE COLLECTED
When you have placed an order to be collected, we will contact you to confirm that the goods are reserved for you. Our premises are open for collections Wednesday 10 am to 4 pm and Friday and Saturdays 10am to 5 pm.
RETURNS
(Distance Selling Act – Does not include items purchased from our premises)
If you are unhappy with the goods you have purchased you may return them for a refund within 7 days. The goods are to be returned at your own expense. Goods should be in an unused resaleable condition, with their original packaging. The refund excludes the cost of post/carriage of goods to yourself. The refund will be issued upon receipt of the goods in their original condition. The above excludes mattresses and bespoke items. Self assembly furniture cannot be refunded if assembly is part or fully completed unless the item is faulty. When returning items please remember to take an envelope to tape to the outside of the packaging, containing your name, address and order number or receipt number.
GUARANTEE
If a fault develops on an item you have purchased within the first 28 days of receipt, we will give you a replacement or refund following verification at the Service Centre. No collection/carriage fees will be charged.
If a fault should develop after 28 days but within the guarantee period (6 months unless otherwise stated), we will send out spare parts free of charge wherever possible. The item may need to be returned to our Service Centre for repair/inspection. If the fault is due to a manufacturing defect, a repair/replacement will be carried out/sent out free of charge.
If a product is damaged due to accident or misuse we will quote for repairs on receipt of the goods at our Service Centre. Please note you will also be charged for any carriage costs incurred. Please contact us if you need advice.
OUT OF GUARANTEE
For items which develop faults outside the guarantee period, we will be pleased to quote for repairs.
